This is a path on how to online affiliate marketing. When I first started, I wanted to create a web site to sell stuff and make money online, but I did not want to spend my hard earned wages doing it. Well, it did not work out that way. I have spent a crap load of money and have very little to show from it other than educating myself. Anyway, for all of you out there than can relate to my story, I want to steer you in the right direction on how to make good money online.

Let’s Start-The First Step & By Far The Most Important One!

First and foremost, and by far, the most IMPORTANT thing to remember on how to earn cash and make money online, is Not To find a product and then try to sell it to death on the Internet, in hopes to make millions. It does not work!  Instead, research what people are SEARCHING FOR,  and then give them or sell them what they want. You can build a simple web site with pre-established templates, MAKE SENSE?

Build Your Site Around Keywords!

You may say, how do I do this? Simple. First, you can find what people are searching for by using WORDTRACKER to Find the Best Keywords for Your Business. This is a keyword tool that shows you how much search volume per day a particular search term or terms commands. Once you have an idea of the keywords or search terms that generate huge volumes of clicks per day, which what WordTracker will show you, then all you have to do is see if your competition is high or low in that market. If it is low, that’s a good thing! You can find out your competition by going to the Google Keyword Research Tool, if you have a Google AdWords account. Even if you do not have an account, here is the link to open this tool up, “Google Keyword Reaseach Tool“. This tool does a great job portraying the LEVEL OF COMPETITION by keyword. Once a keyword is typed in, it comes back with a number of closely related keywords and level of competition for each word, ie. Low, Medium or High. So once you find the keywords that have a high search volume with little competition, you then have a niche market to sell products and downloads or whatever. How, you ask, do I sell stuff? Become an affiliate.

Become An Affiliate!

There are many companies that you can sign up to join affiliate programs. The two giants in the industry are Commission Junction and Clickbank. These two companies have programs that pay you a percentage for selling various items, such as jewelry, weight loss products and e-books, etc. After you sign up, you will be assigned a special link or code that identifies YOU. You include the links they provide for the program that you join to your website.  So all you have to do is set up a simple site ( I will go into that next) with good content and include those affiliate codes in the links that direct people to the products you are selling or promoting.

How Do I Build A Simple Site?

There are many different ways you can accomplish this task. You can pay someone to build you a custom website-far too much to shell out for a design that may not be SEO tested. By that I mean that the site may not be designed to rank high in google free search. You will find that you will shell out loads of cash, probably like it in the beginning because it is your design, but wind up hating it after when it does not produce the results hoped for-CASH!

So what do you do? You can do it on your own by reading countless e-books or obtaining advice from marketing gurus  about how to build a website, but my gut is that you will only get frustrated and spend mucho denaro. There is a regular guy who I came across in my effort to do it on my own that explains “in plain english”  just this.  His name is Marcus and he developed a few easy video’s on this very subject plus a lot more with his Simple Sites Big Profits. I beg you, watch the entire video. If you do nothing else, take 10 minutes or so watching his video. He will make it crystal clear how to set up your own simple site and profit from it. In this video, he will explain the importantance of the keywords you found.

You can purchase a URL or website address the cheapest through “GO DADDY“. In addition, you will need to HOST your URL on a server. The cheapest is “HOST GATOR”. It takes 10 minutes to do and they will walk you through the process. Now, all you need to do once you log into host gator is to go to the control panel and find the file manager. Open it up and you will find the place that all your files to your site are housed. You can also open a WORDPRESS site right there. How easy is that? There, you are done. WHAT YOU SAY DONE? YES! Once you obtain your URL, you direct it or point it to Host Gator’s servers and you can begin uploading good content and links for people who click on them and direct them to the affiliate pages you want them to buy off your site. But make sure your content is real reliable and valuable.
